The category we won for was Technical Direction (me and Roberto Rios), Camera Operators, and Video Control for The Oprah Winfrey Show. There’s a total of 12 people in the group. I went to the ceremony on June 13th and totally not expecting to win, but WE DID!. This ceremony was the technical awards given out the week prior to the daytime Emmys in LA. Our lighting team won as well that night. After the awards, we headed to Buddah Bar.
